Start of something new…

It’s been a dream for a long time, and we’re not doing it by halves.

After selling my business last year, and living in Airlie Beach for a number of years now, I have always loved beer, the creativity behind it and the fact that it brings people together. So I thought, ‘what business could I start that is capital intensive, difficult to administer with government authorities and have very little margin? Oh yeah, a brewery!’

Not really. I wanted to create a beer that the town can be proud of. Sessionable, fresh tasty beers that can be enjoyed all year round, on the beach and on the boats. So, I set about creating recipes that will create our core range. These are mid strength, tasty ales with a story.

Each can and brew release will have a story tied to the area. This is so that the stories aren’t lost on all the new people moving to the area, so they can learn and see what made this place special in the first place, and why we need to preserve what we have here.

If you’re reading this and have some stories, I’d love to hear them. Maybe reach out and I’d love to hear about them over a beer in town. Especially one of our venues that stock our product.

So, we’re NOT a venue. There are enough venues in Airlie and I don’t think I can do a better job than those ones already established. I can help them serve better beer though. So, we’re just distribution to local venues and no plans to open a bar anytime soon. There will be opportunities for home brewers with our local home brew store and obviously takeaways for fisho’s and boaties to make sure you’re watered out there with cans.

Keep an eye on the socials and let friends know when they’re visiting to DRINK LOCAL. Cheers!
